Reports from the Governments Coronavirus Data suggest that Bedworth & Nuneaton Coronavirus cases are dipping in comparison to the previous 7 days

In the UK there were 553,524 tests reported on 7 February 2021. This shows an increase of 5.2% compared to the previous 7 days.

The government are using case per thousand to clearly show the figures of cases and deaths caused by the Covid-19 virus.

Although positive reported cases in Bedworth are higher than that of Neighbouring Nuneaton

Healthcare in George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust

8 people with coronavirus went into hospital on 31 January 2021.

Between 25 January 2021 and 31 January 2021, 52 went into hospital with coronavirus. This shows a decrease of 1.9% compared to the previous 7 days.

There were 51 patients in hospital with coronavirus on 2 February 2021.

Some people in the hospital need to use a special device called a mechanical ventilator to help them breathe.

There were 8 coronavirus patients in hospital beds with a mechanical ventilator on 2 February 2021.
